*GRAVELY VOICE* THEY’RE THE GAME, BUT THEY’RE ALSO PREDATORS TOO

This weekend PREDATORS hunts you down like Twilight fans looking for boyfriends who will actually bite them.  The previous installments in the series have been pretty awful, but now with Robert Rodriguez overseeing the project as producer and promising director Nimrod Antel directing, there’s hope that this one will be closer to the original than to the sequels.  Or so I thought until seeing that it had a 50% rating from top critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Lower my expectations Roger Ebert:

It lacks the quiet suspense of the first “Predator,” and please don’t even mention the “Alien vs. Predator” pictures, which lacked the subtlety of “Mothra vs. Godzilla.”

Well that’s a shame.  Too bad Gary Busey isn’t in this one to crazy things up a bit.  Maybe we’ll eventually get another behind the scenes video of Predators break dancing.

Hurr-durr explained.
